Dear Diary #1

After a long and exhausting day when your body feels drained and your mind is tangled in chaos, you step into a cold shower. Each icy drop that hits your skin sends a shiver through your body, yet with every tremble, a negative thought leaves your mind. Every worry, every doubt, every heavy emotion slowly washes away.

Then comes the release – you cry. You cry to empty your heart of the scars it quietly bore, to unburden your mind of all that weighed it down. And suddenly, amidst the tears, you begin to laugh. You laugh until your jaw aches. You laugh at your situation, at the absurdity of life, at the helplessness you sometimes feel even when surrounded by those you love and those who love you. You laugh at the irony of it all.

When the crying and laughing are done, when every ounce of pain has been poured out with the water, you begin to feel still. There’s a strange peace in the sound of running water, in the simplicity of just being. And as the cold drops no longer make you shiver, a quiet realization dawns: this is life.

Stand tall. With time, what once made you tremble becomes familiar. The flow becomes natural. Life, like a river, doesn’t stop for obstacles. It moves around them, over them, through them until it reaches the sea.

Is that the destination? Maybe or maybe not. But that’s a conversation for another time.

For now, let’s return to the real world… and keep flowing.
